An inviting Continental-Plus Breakfast is served each morning in the Great Room. Breakfast includes coffee, hot chocolate, a selection of hot teas, juice, fruit and a variety of fresh-baked muffins and pastries along with our choice of specialty dishes like oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar or Belgian Waffles with Door County cherries and whipped cream. You may feel free to take your breakfast back to your room, enjoy breakfast with others in the Great Room or lounge on one of the decks outside.
Our Great Room is open ‘round the clock. You can watch a movie on the big-screen television, relax with a cup of tea or hot chocolate by the fireplace or play cards or one of the many board games on hand. We also offer bottled water in the Great Room along with a telephone for your use. (Don’t forget to bring your calling card for long distance calls. Some cell phones do not have service in Gills Rock!)
The whirlpool is available to our guests from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. each evening (May through Oct.). The sauna cabin is available all day. For health considerations, small children should NOT go in the whirlpool or the sauna cabin. Older children may enjoy the whirlpool and sauna accompanied by their parent(s). Additional amenities:
